Women are generally disadvantaged in terms of access to capital required to setup
and finance a business venture. As a result, women-owned businesses are most affected by the
lack of a reliable and affordable source of electricity for business operations.
We are able to address this issue with our Solar-as-a-Service initiative, which allows our
customers to pay for an affordable supply of solar electricity, in the form of a subscription
without having to pay for the solar equipment itself.
This would help women improve the output of their business operations, generate better revenues
and at the same time reduce their operational costs.
We believe that in order for women and girls to realize their full potential, the access to key
resources like electricity be fair and inclusive.
